Hi, there. I'm Brittney Boudwin (boh-dwin).
I'm on a mission to make living well on this planet possible for everyone by centering the hardest, historically, commonly neglected and negatively impacted folks.
I like working with problem-solvers and lifelong learners. I use transparency and generosity to amplify the impact individually and locally held knowledge, skills, and tools can have on our collective power.
Currently, I’m director of education at the International Living Future Institute, a global non-profit identifying positive future scenarios for the built environment. My team and I design courses, curricula, and credentials for the regenerative building movement that address the most pressing social and ecological challenges of our time.
Previously, I worked in CSR on employee sustainability engagement initiatives and as a design researcher for social innovation projects. I’ve also taken a lot of orders for tacos and retrieved a lot of shoes in the next size up.
My work is always human-centered, design-driven, in service of the next generation and in honor of the past. And joyful, if I can help it.
I believe in “each one, teach one”, and am glad to share my experiences with working in sustainability with anyone joining this cause, especially emerging professionals of color. You can find me on the internet.
Good to meet you.
