About
Hi, I’m Brittney Boudwin (boh-dwin). I’m an impact strategist, climate & equity advocate, and human-centered designer.
I'm on a mission to make thriving on this planet possible for everyone by centering those who have been-and continue to be-neglected and disproportionately impacted by the systems we design. When we design for the most vulnerable, we create solutions that uplift everyone.
I believe education is a powerful force for collective change–knowledge shouldn’t end with the individual but be shared to empower others. Guided by the "Each one, teach one" philosophy, I’m committed to transforming knowledge and wisdom into power through capacity-building education, strategic initiatives, and impact-driven campaigns. I thrive alongside intelligent optimists working to solve social, economic, and ecological challenges.
My work is human-centered, design-driven, and grounded in honoring the past while shaping a just future–always in pursuit of joy, and whenever possible, infused with humor. I value transparency, generosity, integrity, and grit. I also happen to love grits (with butter).
Currently, I’m the Senior Director of Education at Living Future, a nonprofit dedicated to transforming the built environment through regenerative and socially just solutions. My team and I design learning programs and cultivate communities of practice that empower architects, engineers, contractors, and designers to rethink how we build for a more sustainable and equitable world. Previously, I worked in corporate social responsibility (CSR), leading employee sustainability engagement initiatives, and as a design researcher for social innovation.
Along the way, I’ve taken countless taco orders, worked dressing rooms, and even designed private airplane interiors–reminders that every job, interaction, and experience shapes how we learn, lead, and contribute to something bigger than ourselves.
